This gallery includes 19th-century historic processes as well as one contemporary alternative process. In each technique, a light-sensitive emulsion is created and brushed onto paper which is then exposed to UV light filtered through a photo negative. The work you see here includes Platinum Palladium, Ziatype (contemporary), Gum Bichromate, Cyanotype, Salt Prints, and Albumen; at times layered together or with the hand-application of watercolor pigment.
