Even in a furnished flat, there’s lots of nesting required to make a space feel like home. When it’s time to leave at the end of a journey, I must let it all go and start over again at the next destination. I’ve shed pieces of myself around the globe, waiting for the day when I can build back up and hold on for awhile.
