From the mountains of northern Bengal. I only caught one early morning view of snow-capped Himalayan views. Otherwise, the clouds hung low to the mountainside like in this final image. My feet stood on Indian soil as I looked into Nepal. I planned to cross at a border outpost but my OCI status wasn’t accepted for entry. So Sanjoy and Ruby walked over while I hugged the border as close as I could and bought Nepali sweets and soup and shrimp papad (pronounced popper).
