Autumn in New York

New York City, November 2017, 120mm film

Thanksgiving has passed, trees are going up, and snow has arrived in those parts of the country I would normally bounce between and consider ‘home’ right now. It’s the first time in my life that I’ve missed the entirety of autumn. My compass feels out of alignment. I miss the sweet smell of fallen leaves, crisp morning air, and warming flavors of the season. The image above shows the last time I can remember taking it all in.
