Mixed Media Artwork with Poetry

New work on the site!

This weekend I moved back into the coastal studio that I’ve flourished in previous winters. An entire year has passed since I had the space to house equipment and materials necessary for my handmade works. It felt so good to organize…and then get messy!

Visit my shop of completed works above (or click here) to see what’s been added.

Currently lined up on the work table are a six-foot-long sheet of handmade paper from Thailand, plant-based pigments from an Indian village, a jar of sacred Ganga water collected in West Bengal, and a sticky gum used in Pata Chitra tradition that I harvested from several bael fruits (what a process that was!). It feels like being reunited with old friends.

As I complete these, they too will be uploaded to the shop on this website. So if you are visiting regularly for Journal updates, make sure you pop your head in over there on occasion as well to see what’s new.
