“May your path be brightly lit.”
Today I’m sharing the well-wishes given to me last night by another attendee at the SFCCA’s panel discussion, Feminism & Intersectionality in the Arts. She searched for a moment to find just the right words. During mingling afterwards I overheard someone comment on how especially bright the moon looked on this night. I walked out towards my car afterwards where motion sensor lights strapped to short posts turned on every several feet, and the friend I walked with turned on the flashlight of her cell phone, adding a third illumination to the ground in front of me. My path had been lit and I wish the same for yours.
